Alumni
Welcome Cathedral Alumni! As a member of the Cathedral School for Boys Alumni Association, you’re an incredibly important part of not only our school’s history, but of our community today.
Our 1,500+ alumni are spread out all over the world and are involved in every imaginable profession and interest. They’re also incredibly involved in the life of the school, serving as volunteers at school events, guest speakers at assemblies, architects for school construction projects, contributors to our fundraising efforts, and as members of our Board of Trustees. Many alumni are parents of current Cathedral students (and future alumni) themselves!
No matter when you attended the school or for how long you were a student here, we have a wealth of resources available to you as an alumnus. These include:
- Alumni receptions and events (like the Alumni / Faculty basketball game, happy hours, and class reunions) held in San Francisco and around the country

- Bi-monthly newsletters with alumni news and updates from the school
Whether you were a Crusader or a Hawk, on the Red Team, Gold Team, or Blue Team, you’re a vital part of the school community. We’re excited to have you involved, and can’t wait to hear from you!
Alumni Events
The alumni office organizes events in San Francisco and around the country for Cathedral alums to catch up and strengthen their Cathedral School ties. Following are some of the events that we hold in a typical year:
Fall Cathedral Gym Come join fellow alums and your former teachers in our annual and much-loved tradition! Arrive early to participate in Cathedral School Sunday in the Cathedral. |

Spring Online and On-Campus A week of events for alumni near and far, including virtual and in-person events, a celebration for reunion classes, and a reception for alumni and their families on campus. |

Cathedral School for Boys
